I love location scouting, it’s an excuse to explore and be nosy, two of my favourite things! My scouting consists of me saying “Oh I wonder what’s over there?” And knowing Scotland, something beautiful awaits, especially if you elope to Argyll!

On a whim I decided to go for a jaunt around the Cowal peninsula, and I’m glad I did! I found at least 3 different locations that would be absolutely perfect for a Wee Wild Wedding, and all within 90 minutes from Glasgow.

It’s got lochs, hills, coast, glens, waterfalls and castles – what more could you want? A relatively hidden gem, Argyll has so much to offer!
