A Wee City Wedding sorts the whole shebang for you, whether it’s just the two of you sneaking off for something intimate or a tiny celebration of up to ten. We’ll bring all our years of wedding wizardry to the table and handle everything, so you can have the chilled, stylish, urban wedding you’ve been dreaming about.
Our basic package for an elopement for two starts at £3395.00 and includes three brilliant suppliers – Planning, Photography & Celebrant.

Up to two hours with Sarah at Joy Story, capturing all the magic of your ceremony and the two of you looking utterly glorious. You’ll receive 100+ edited images in your own online gallery, ready to download, gush over, and fling at everyone you know.

Cat at Fin Flükra is the definition of a wedding superhero. With fourteen hours dedicated to planning your entire day, she’ll sort everything from your location to your accommodation and wrangle every supplier involved. Basically, she removes the stress so you can just enjoy the ride.

We work with the loveliest celebrants around – folks like Claire the Humanist (pictured), who’ll build a ceremony that feels personal, joyful, and completely you. Fun, heartfelt, and unforgettable, just as it should be.

Join Humanist Society Scotland
Our celebrants cannot marry you unless you are a member of Humanist Society Scotland. It’s really easy to sign up though. We’ll let you know how to pay the membership fee.
What else is there to do, you ask??
Just the fun stuff!! Picking your wedding outfits and perhaps getting some rings if you fancy them! Cat, our planner, is on hand to help research any required accommodation for you as well. Easy peasy.

Wee City Weddings package includes:
- Up to two (2) hours of photography from Joy Story. 100+ downloadable images in an online gallery.
- Fourteen (14) hours of admin planning assistance from Fin Flükra (liaising with all suppliers, assisting with location options, accommodation, extra suppliers etc).
- Humanist celebrant from the Humanist Society of Scotland to conduct your ceremony (separate joining fee applicable direct with HSS).

Wee City Weddings are ideal for those looking to run away and just get married already! Spontaneous, romantic couples – this is for you!
So with that in mind we take bookings up to 10 months in advance.
Wee City Weddings are tailored to elopements for 2 and micro weddings of up to 10.
The standard package is for just you two but you can add on up to a maximum of 8 guests.
Yes – humanist weddings in Scotland are fully legal and internationally recognised. Because the marriage is legally valid under Scots law, it’s treated the same as any other legal marriage worldwide, with an official marriage certificate to prove it.
Yes. In Scotland your wedding has to be witnessed by two people (cannot include the person conducting the ceremony). But if you’re eloping just the two of you, don’t stress – we got you. Good news is, you’ll always have at least 1 witness in your photographer. If you add on video, there’s your second. Or a piper/musician – they can witness too. We can also supply an additional witness for a small fee to cover their time. So you are all set!
We offer the additions of florals, hair & makeup and videography as optional extras to the Wee City Weddings package. We have a fab team that work with us regularly.
With planning support included we can source any other supplier you’d like though. A piper, a cake, a mariachi band – you got it!
The suppliers that are included in the basic package (planner, photographer and humanist celebrant) cannot be swapped out.

With a Wee City Wedding, you’re mostly getting married in a venue, so there’s always shelter if the skies decide to have a tantrum. But being in the city also means there are loads of charming little nooks, courtyards, and hidden corners to duck into if you fancy an outdoor vibe. Rain? Sun? A bit of both in the same hour? Scotland’s famous for it – and honestly, it just adds to the adventure. We promise, you’ll still get married in style, whatever the weather throws at us!
